Description
Aimé Leon Dore was founded by Teddy Santis in New Your city in 2014. Their design was inspired by basketball, music and sub-culture but with the twist of vintage elements. For NB 550 collaboration, they continue to bring the vintage design into the whole collection. 550 originally released in 1989 and designed by legendary sneaker architect Steven Smith. In 2018, the new assigned creative director Teddy Santis, saw the brand’s 90’s design catalog that include 990 V2, 1300 and 550. His interest of 550 made him rebuilt from scratch and finally released the model in 2020.
